Hung jury in Wilmington jewelry store assault and robbery. There will be a new trial

A jury could not reach a verdict in the case of a man accused of pistol whipping a store owner during a Wilmington jewelry store heist.

After about two days of deliberating, a mistrial was declared as jurors were deadlocked in deciding the state’s case against Calvin Ushery

Surveillance video shows 68-year-old Chang Suh being stomped on and hit in the head at least a dozen times – twice with a pistol. Suh was so badly beaten he is still undergoing rehabilitation.
